Using Standard Keyboard for Online Poker
The Good: Full customization script key-mapping allows for wide range customization. You can reprogram your keyboard for online poker any way you like.
The Bad: Cords and wireless batteries may get in the way due to lack of specified designation. Keyboards were not intended for comfortable game playing and learning to reprogram your keyboard for online poker may be very difficult.
The Ugly: Wires, wireless batteries or a flat solid base-like structure can limit comfort and enjoyment while playing online poker.
Using Standard Mouse for Online Poker
The Good: Free with all computers! Very convenient and comfortable.
The Bad: Sitting at your desk for longer games can get very boring after a few hours of play. Too much mouse is also known to cause wrist combined with shoulder pain (carpal tunnel syndrome) and can be very unhealthy for eyes, wrists and back if sitting too close to the monitor or in a wrong position which causes nerves to be pinched by overweight, especially if playing for longer hours because for example the back muscles will be tired.
The Ugly: Playing too much online poker for prolonged hours in unhealthy positions is very bad for your health and will cause early-age wearnessness in muscles causing early-age arthiritus.
Using Laptop Touchpad for Online Poker
The Good: Free with all laptop computers!
The Bad: Similar to the mouse, if using the touchpad in wrong positions may cause harm (early-age weakness) in your wrists. Using the fingers to move around on the touchpad sometimes can be very easy to press the wrong online poker action by accident.
The Ugly: The touchpad is very bad for playing games, especially online poker due to easy chance of mistakes.
IPOD / IPAD Application Support
The Good: It is finally here! Playing online poker with your Apple™ Ipad™ or Ipod™ using full touchscreen features is very fun!
The Bad: Playing online poker in long tournaments over 4-6, sometimes every 8-12 hours or more, is very strenuous to your expensive Apple Ipad screen. When playing online games for very long hours, especially online poker, not only do these expensive devices wear-&-tear, but your tiredness could cause you to drop the screen! Or, perhaps spill your drink all over it or touch it with your dirty hands from your food or your emergency washroom run.
The Ugly: Ipads are too expensive and fragile to be used as a game playing device for over 12 hours per day, every day, if you are a professional poker player.

The Good: Turn any favorite pc controller into online poker for free.
The Bad: Your favorite joystick controller or control pad for the pc may not have originally been intended for online poker playing, some certain limitation in comfort and play-style may apply when playing online poker with a device originally intended for action games.
The Ugly: Hopefully your joystick controller is not.

The Good: USB receiver attaches directly to back of control for convenient storage in any laptop's expansion bay. Reception works through walls and floors up to 15 meters with extremely long battery life (excluding laser useage).
The Bad: Laser is pretty much useless unless you have a cat or dog to play with.
The Ugly: You would be wise to spend a little more money and get the Plus control.

The Good: Controls online poker, movies, music and works through walls! Single CR2032 watch type battery can last even over 2 years!
The Bad: The RF reception which works through walls may not be a great use for online poker, unless a sound add-on is added to your poker client software.
The Ugly: If you have big hands, the small buttons may not suit you and may prefer the professional or dual model instead.

The Good: Individual 4-table controls for only the most common action, Fold. This remote control is absolutely great for upto four tables of comfortable, convenient, easy, and fun to play online poker. Ergonomically designed with most common buttons at the nearest distance to your fingers. Stay healthy, and increase your capability!
The Bad: No movie or music control.
The Ugly: This unit only comes in silver-grey, manufacture claims future skin availability may be possible.

The Good: Ergonomics at it's best! Full 360 degree advanced reception. Controls online poker, movies, music & more.
The Bad: Unless you play 2 - 3 tables at once, you may prefer the smaller plus model instead.
The Ugly: The black and white coloring scheme of the bottom portion can be improved.
Multi-Table Controller 1
The Good: Controls upto four tables at a time with fully dedicated table action buttons. This handy little device can be used as a hand-held controller or put flat on the table for easy "chicken-peck" playing style.
The Bad: Discontinued model. Manufacturer claims a release of a bigger "Multi-Tabler 2", with up to 8 table support in the near future. But they didn't say anything of a release date.
The Ugly: The colors and overall design seemed a little tacky considering other available remote control models.
